Hanami at Strahov Brewery 2026 🌸

We warmly invite you to this year’s Hanami at Strahov Brewery, taking place on April 25, 2026, from 10:00 to 22:00, both indoors and outdoors at the brewery.

For the fifth year in a row, we are hosting this Japanese-inspired festival, bringing a taste of Japan to Prague. To mark the occasion, we’ve brewed a special Sakura Amber Ale, which can be enjoyed alongside our delicious Japanese-style menu.

A rich program awaits you, featuring demonstrations of the traditional tea ceremony, martial arts, ink painting, kimonos, and much more. Visitors can also take part in contests for the most beautiful traditional kimono, cosplay, and haiku, with plenty of prizes to be won.

Hanami is an ancient Japanese tradition dating back to the 8th century. At its heart, it’s about admiring the fleeting beauty of blooming cherry blossoms and celebrating the passing of the seasons.
